ABOUT THE URBAN INTERVENTION

From 10 a.m. — 2 p.m. on June 3rd, 2017

CPAWS-OV will be hosting a Mud Lake clean up and turtle bed restoration project from 10am-12:00pm. Mud Lake is a unique urban landscape that is a sanctuary to many species including snapping turtles. CPAWS-OV does monitoring at Mud Lake to ensure the continued health of the lake. In 2015 CPAWS-OV worked with partners to create sloped curbs to allow turtles to cross the road safely.
12:00-2:00pm we will host a lunch to celebrate all the hard work our volunteers do all year round.

Location: Mud Lake 5 Cassels St, Ottawa
