ABOUT THE URBAN INTERVENTION

From noon — 2 p.m. on June 3rd, 2017

This is a tour of little libraries in the area. Each spot is about a 10-minute bike ride from the last spot. Little libraries are an awesome act of citizenry. Homeowners donate space, materials, and elbow grease to keep the leave-one-take-one spots in good use. It contributes to urbanism, pedestrian, literacy, and an all-around-sense of good vibes. However, if you take a look, you'll often see that these spaces can be cast-offs for bodice rippers, old tech manuals, and airport-bookstore type fare. This is a chance to donate a few good reads to these great spaces.

Meeting spot: Rosemount Library at 18 Rosemount Ave.

These materials will be part of my intervention:

Books and bikes!

It would be great if participants can bring with them:

Bring #agoodread; leave a nice note in the book for the next reader

Type intervention
Keywords library, reading, books, urbanism, city-building
